In Formulayt, you can configure gate editor fields to give marketers additional control over form submissions.
For example, you might want to allow marketers building gates to add a Campaign ID to the hidden field values passed on submission.
Setting up a gate editor field
Follow these steps to create a gate editor field:
Create a new hidden field (in this example, named Campaign_ID)
Select the Gate Editor option from the prepopulation dropdown
Configure the field with appropriate settings:
Select a field type
Add a label hint
Set mandatory status
Determine which form types this field will be available for
Testing your gate editor field
Once this has been configured you will see this new field appear in the misc tab of the gate editor. From here you can run a quick submission test to make sure the data is being received properly.
