Preview Mode in Formulayt lets you review all changes before publishing them to the web. When you make changes in Translations, Styles, Fields, Form Types or Events Areas, a notification appears at the top of the page.
Using preview mode
To use Preview Mode, follow these steps:
Add your content (such as placeholder text)
Update your changes
Return to the Manage Fields area
Activate Preview Mode
When Preview Mode is active, you'll see a confirmation message on your screen.
Preview Mode allows you to verify all your changes, such as placeholder text in gates. After reviewing, you can either:
Publish your changes to make them live
Deactivate Preview Mode to revert your modifications
Important notes about preview mode
Preview Mode has several key characteristics:
Most areas can be previewed independently
Exception: Manage Form Types and Manage Fields are linked - activating Preview Mode in one automatically enables it in both
Preview Mode operates individually for each user
Multiple team members can preview changes simultaneously without affecting others' views
