This guide explains how to create and configure multi-step forms in Formulayt. Multi-step forms break longer forms into smaller, sequential sections. Selecting a multi-step form behaviour adds a next and previous button as well as a progress bar which you can style.
Setting up multi-step forms
To create multi-step forms in Formulayt, follow these steps:
Navigate to Setup > Form Types
Create a new form type using the button in the top right corner
Find the dropdown labeled form behaviour
Select multi-step from the options (other choices include standard and progressive)
Specify the maximum number of steps your form will have
Finish adding fields and configuring your form type as normal
Assign each field to the appropriate step
Publishing your multi-step form
Once you have saved your new form type and pushed it live, you will be able to assign gates to it in the gate editor.
